Watercolor, whimsy, and wishes.
Early 20s, self-taught (and forever learning new things!)
"that-artsy-ch1ck" (and another variation of it, that.artsy.ch1ck) have stuck now, and that's how people know me. "That Artsy Chick." I liked it, so I'm rolling with it, and I'd love to see just how well-known that name can become.
My current focus is on a 22-part Major Arcana Tarot series as well as a "Nebulae" series.
My subject matter tends to focus on fantasy - angels, fairies, and the like. I've been told that my work has a rather dreamlike quality to it, which is exactly what I work to achieve. :)
I'm a college gal, hoping to become an art therapist by the end of this long journey.
Favorite season is autumn, favorite color of all time is indigo, favorite brand of watercolors is Daniel Smith, and my favorite brushes are by Escoda and Winsor & Newton. (Kolinsky Sable brushes are a godsend.)
